  • Mark place of origin on fish and fishery products or processed products in case that their reputation, quality and other features result from geographical specialty

Legal Basis

  • Article 32 of Agricultural and Fishery Products Quality Control Act
  • Article 12 and 15 of Enforcement Decree of Agricultural and Fishery Products Quality Control Act
  • Article 56 and 58 of Enforcement Regulation of Agricultural and Fishery Products Quality Control Act

Qualification to Apply (Article 32 of Agricultural and Fishery Products Quality Control Act)

  • Business consisting of producers or processors of fish and fishery products with geographical specialty

    Individual application is also possible when production or processing is conducted by oneself

  • Certified by a deliberation council
