Legal Basis

  • Article 24 of Agricultural and Fishery Products Quality Control Act (Traceability)

Requirements for registration

  • Objects: all domestic fish and fishery products (including products from pelagic fishery) that are live, chilled, frozen and simply processed (dried, salted, etc.)
  • Requirement for applicants: Producers, distributers, and sellers wishing traceability system
  • Objects: Fish and fishery products that can be traced and recovered (i.e. product recall)
  • Registration period: 3 years (period extension is up to 3 years)
